Matt Nelson

Matt Nelson is the President/CEO of Income For Life LLC and co-host of The Income For Life Show. With nearly 25 years of practice, Matt has been published in over 300 regional and national media outlets and is ranked in the top 1% of retirement planners in the world today. With IFL Show listeners all over the world (even as far as Australia and Romania), Matt has been able to share his experience with unlimited reach. Lastly, Matt has trained both clients and advisors all across the country with his ideas and common sense strategies, all with one goal in mind: To help you STAY retired. When Matt is not working, you can find him next to Sam and his two beautiful daughters, Maddy and Cierra, as they travel to small parts of the country and around the world meeting new people, talking about his beloved Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas State University Wildcats, all while doing his best to find a local fishing hole or golf course where he can relax and maybe even get a bite and an occasional birdie (not many, though!). Matt’s small town roots come from Copeland KS, where the town of 250 people made him who he is today. No matter where Matt goes or travels to, Copeland will always be called home.

Sam Thyfault

Sam Thyfault is Vice President of Operations at Income For Life LLC and co-host of The Income For Life Show. Sam came to IFL last year and brings an honest, down home feeling to the IFL Show that many have never experienced. Her honesty and unfiltered energy will have you laughing and smiling as you listen to her southern charm. Sam manages the day to day operations of IFL, as well as Matt’s calendar. To get to Matt, you have to go through Sam. Sam has extensive experience in operations and was a recruitment officer for the State of Kansas Department of Revenue’s Human Resources Division. She led interview teams, set up recruiting events and managed a large caseload of all aspects of the hiring process for the State of Kansas. In her freetime, she loves to spend time with her family, especially her beautiful daughter, Brandalyn, and she loves her University of Kansas Jayhawks. You will typically find her at Matt’s side as they stroll the streets of the small towns in Kansas as well as the national, big city events because Sam can fit in anywhere she goes. Small town or big city – it doesn’t matter. Sam comes from Dorrance KS, population of 182 people, which is where her values and integrity were instilled that she carries with her to this day.

Proceeds went to the Folds of Honor charity for families of wounded soldiers and The ACE Grant Foundation to assist children & families to learn the benefits of golf.

The AJGA golf tour’s past members include Bubba Watson, Jordan Spieth and Tiger Woods, among many others. With over 16 states across the Midwest and 7 countries represented, this national event was an incredible success.
